Same gals, same topics, but a new look.
In honor of any spring cleaning that might be going on in our homes, we decided our little online home was due for some sprucing up. So behold, the new Tales from the Crib. Here's a little about what has changed...
Our rather lengthy lists of links and post topics which were featured in the side column of our former blog have now been condensed into pull-down menus - just select the site or topic you want to read, and you'll be magically whisked away.
One of MY favorite features, the "Recent Comments" section, is unfortunately being a little persnickety in our new template, so it's been abandoned for the time being; we hope to see it back soon.
Otherwise, it's the same Tales you've been reading all along. Enjoy!

I like the new look, but I miss the list of your informative posts, like the one with the breakdown of the various modest clothing companies and the one about momtrepenuers.

thanks wendy and proud daughter of eve.
General note - I just got the recent comments thing to work, so disregard that part of my post!
proud daughter, those are still there, they are just organized into the pull-down menus - the ones you are looking for are in the first pull-down, "So You Want To..."

Very cool. Way to go! Is this considered "cyber-nesting"? ;)

Is there a way you can post instructions for how to put "recent comments" and "read more function" on a blog? I love your new look!

Love the new look - it's crisp, easy to read and the pull downs are easy to use. It's so bright - I love it.

thanks everyone!
suzie, I will work on some instructions for you for the "recent comments" function.
As for the "Read More", it is called an Expandable Post Summary, and instructions can be found here for both the old blogger templates and the new. Hope that helps!

Aren't we so lucky to have Marian and our skeelz around these parts!
thanks Marian!
And Katie - It very well could be some cyber-nesting as I was the one who called Marian this week to give her the extra little push to get this cool design up and running (and my baby is due tomorrow).

I really like the narrower column too--it's a lot easier to read.
Looks great!

Thank you, Marian. I have no idea how I missed that, as I was looking specifically for it. hrm.

It probably isn't you Proud Daughter of Eve - for the first 15 minutes or so after I put it up, that first pull-down menu was only showing up on the front (main) page, but none of the lower pages. You probably just happened to get on to the site before I fixed it a few minutes later!
Thanks all for your nice words. I won't even tell you how embarrassingly long Carrie has been asking me to get it done! But now it finally is, and I'm glad you like it.
