Prayers needed in CA

Many of you have probably seen the news coverage of the fires raging through southern California. This news hits close to home as one of the Tales girls, Zinone, had to be evacuated from her home this evening because one of the fires is coming dangerously close to her home. Please keep her and all the families that are being evacuated tonight (as well as the tireless firefighters) in your prayers tonight.

  • Hey you guys. Thank you so much for the prayers and support. It was a scary thing... even growing up here and seeing the hills on fire all the time, you don't realize how awful it is until your home is threatened. We are all safe. Watching the news coverage to see where we stand. We can't get to our house yet as the hills are still burning, but it looks like we will be okay. Thank you thank you thank you for your love.

  • It's tragic. I will be praying for everyone tonight too.

I sometimes wonder if the prayers do any good - I tend to think that God won't interfere with fire and things like that very frequently - what will happen, will happen, and the most we can do is pray for the people to be able to deal with it safely, pray they will be inspired to make good decisions, pray the firefighters will make good choices, etc. Sorry, for threadjacking, just thinking out loud.

I'll be praying though, as fervently as possible.
